As the nation��s only inflator manufacturer, Hanwha has grown substantially since first entering into an exclusive distributorship agreement with TRW in 1994. Since then, it has been supplying inflators to large buyers and has made continuous efforts to expand production while at the same time reducing cost and strengthening reliability. We will continue with these efforts by procuring more independent technology, increasing production through the expansion of our production lines and establishing a greater presence in the China and Southeast Asia markets.

Driver Side Inflator

The only product of its kind to be made in Korea

In 2001, Hanwha completed development of the Korean version of FG Inflators and ADI Inflators through a technical collaboration with TRW. Today, we are the sole manufacturer of these inflators in Korea which are produced in our Boeun Plant manufacturing facility.

PHI2, PPI3, our Flagship Products

PHI2, which compresses inert gas and PPI3, which uses a Non-Azide propellant to produce airbag inflating gas, are our flagship products manufactured by TRW of Germany.
