Company Introduction
Hanwha/Trade Petrochemical Team has three functional sections; the naphtha section is responsible for products that serve as raw materials in the petrochemical industry, the olefin section is responsible for raw materials for synthetic resins such as ethylene and propylene, and the polymer section trades in the commodities and engineering plastics used as raw materi-
als for plastic products.

Hanwha¡¯s Petrochemical Team is positioning itself to become a global entity by creating synergy amongst its functional sections at all stages of its operations, from raw materials to the end-product. It has a strategy of enhancing its competitiveness in key business sectors through the careful analysis of the intelligence it gathers from its global networks while striving to exploit emerging opportunities in new markets.
Naphtha Section
We have a long-term purchase contract with major state-owned refineries in the Middle East such as Kuwait KPC, UAE ADNOC and SAUDI ARAMCO. We also purchase naphtha from India. Currently, our sales are primarily to Korean petrochemical companies, however we are now endeavoring to operate on a global scale by covering European naphtha as well in the future.
Olefin Section
The Olefin Section is responsible for the export and merchandis-
ing trade of olefin products including Ethylene/Propylene/Butadi-
ene/C4Raffinate/Isobutene/Butene-1; CA products including EDC/
VCM and LPG products including Propane/Butane. We aim to satisfy our customer¡¯s every need by utilizing our extensive experience and expertise in the gas market.
Polymer Section
Our Polymer Section has close connections with leading petroch-
emical companies throughout the world. The Polymer Section supplies its customers with a broad product portfolio on an uninterrupted basis. We can offer our customers the following main products:
- EVA / LDPE / LLDPE / HDPE / PP
- PVC / DOP
- PET CHIP / PC
- ABS / PS / EPS
