The total assets of Korea Life Insurance were KRW 49 trillion as of the close of the 2007 fiscal year, with total revenues of KRW 14.4324 trillion. In the same year, Korea Life Insurance was ranked second in terms of the National Customer Satisfaction Index and obtained a ¡°AAA¡± rating in the area of insurance financial strength.
With its 7 regional headquarters, 63 regional offices and 700 branch offices throughout the country, Korea Life is the life insurance provider for 10 million policy holders. By moving forward, Korea Life Insurance aspires to be the best not only in terms of NCIS but also in employee/officer satisfaction and investor preference. In order to prepare for the changes and opportunities in the financial environment that will be introduced through the new Capital Markets Act, Korea Life Insurance has formed the Hanwha Financial Network in cooperation with Hanwha Securities, Hanwha Non-Life Insurance and other financial subsidiaries within the Hanwha Group. It opened 70 new Hanwha Financial Plaza branch offices in 2008, coming another step closer to its customers.
It is also aiming to proactively enter other markets demonstrating high-potential such as China and Vietnam as well as well established markets like New York and London.
